"So there's this gay heavy metal band," GirlyNYC said to me several years ago. Little did I know that those words would set off a veritable orgy of impending fandom, in which we would go on to cheer on the very, very, very gay Pink Steel at countless shows, which including throwing my bra at them at an infamous BUST party, interviewing them for Gay City News, and their performance at my 30th birthday party.
